Watching the IDPA and IPSC matches, I've realized there's a shirt that many of us need. And, being the entrepreneurial kind of guy I am, I've made it for everyone to enjoy!

I call this one The Ahab Special

image

I'm going to have to get one for the matches.

Just a hint - Dark colors work the best on this design. For some odd reason, Zazzle can't print white on light colored shirts, so the target becomes the color of the shirt you pick if it's not considered "dark".

Enjoy!

You aren't going to let Caleb forget that for a very long time, are you?

:-)

I shot two hostages at the match yesterday. Not a good day for hostages. Of course one of them jumped up in front of the bad guy so I figure that was as much his fault as mine.

No. Not really ;)

I actually gathered a lot of frustrations with the no-shoots at the IPSC match, and I have a feeling the shirt would be a hit with some of the guys - more likely to buy it for their friends!

At our club, the word immediately following the @!#%#$ is "MEDIC!"

Any idea how well the shirts from Zazzle hold up over time?

My Don't Panic shirt is pretty hefty. It's been washed a few times now and hasn't begun to fade, but then again it's still basically new.

It's a decent material, at least for the selection I chose - I don't know about the other lines. Some of them are cheaper because they're made less sturdy.

The most common phrases we hear at our club are, "Don't worry about them, they were just a lawyer/politician/university-professor/etc. anyway." and "WHITE TAPE!!!"

Look at the bright side, at least it wasn't an "A" zone hit.

LaughingDog,

I can't give you a time frame on how long they will last, but I will say that they are much, much better quality than CafePress. I've only washed mine once, but it still looks good. It's nice and thick, too.

"It needs the dont panic logo on the front"

I agree. Robb should do some more branding with his new line of fashionable gunny attire.

My main concerns, because I've run into this many times, were the image coming off or the stitching coming apart after a few washes. It sounds like that isn't an issue, so I may have to pick one up.

I used to have an

"I shoot hostages" T-shirt. I wore it when we were shooting

"El Presidente" at the local shooting range.

Some didn't think it funny, I wasn't one of them.

See, this is why you need ammunition that penetrates well. That way, if you accidentally hit the hostage, you still have a chance of killing the hostage taker. :P

Anyone remember the line from Keanu Reeves in 'Speed'?

"Shoot the hostage. Take him out of the equation."
