And this looks like just the thing to give them what they want

I can't tell you how awful it is to load the Ruger's magazines. I think I've honestly shied away from shooting a few times because I didn't want to kill my thumb holding down that damnable tab while I try to somehow jam grain of rice sized cartridges into it the magazine in the correct direction.

I'm getting one (uh... well, with the Mrs' approval) and I'll put up a video review.

Bought one for the girlfriend from Brownells. This thing really works, the only drawback is the greatly increased rate of fire, i.e., her need for much greater amounts of ammunition.

Wow! When they gonna invent one for the Makarov? If you thought Rugers were bad...Hell's bells!

Robb, you have a Ruger .22 pistol and you don't have one of these

I agree with Ratus.

That thing rocks. That looks like the most innovative product for shooters in quite some time.

I'll say the same here as I did at Breeda's place

The Ultimate Cliploader is fantastic. I can't see the video from here, but I've got one, and it works as advertised--Dump a bunch of bulk ammo in, shake, stick a mag in--you might need to wiggle the mag a bit, but it really does load magazines in about 5 seconds, with no sore thumbs.

Shut! Up! How does that work? None of them end up backwards? I'm pretty sure that defies at least one law of physics.

I just bought one. When I go shooting I spend more time loading the five mags then I do actually punching holes in paper. This will change that.

Thanks for the lead.

How it works: The bottom of the main bin has a slot just big enough for the main part of the cartridge, but too small for the rim. When you shake it with the slot down, you wind up with a bunch of .22's hanging from their rim. Stick the mag in, there's an adjustable screw that pushes the follower. Tip it and the nicely aligned .22's fall into the mag.
