Well, with the 10mm you may need a flashlight to avoid stepping in a puddle of urine left by the miscreant after shots were fired.

Ahh the G29. I hate glocks. I mean HATE them. Don't like the grips, the grip angle, the trigger. Just don't like them at all. Still the size, shape, weight, capacity, and chambering of the G29. If I was going to ever buy a glock it would be one of thems!

WB, that's pretty much my reasoning behind owning the G29 too. I tried my fathers .40 and hated it. I tried the G26 and hated it. I shot the G29 once and went out and bought it.

I love the 10mm. All the size of the .40 with an extra kick that makes it useful. The G29 puts it in a package that generally conceals well and still delivers a good (and controllable) punch.

The only other guns I would consider for CCW are a compact 1911 ala Kimber Pro Carry II or, in colder weather, a snub nosed .357 Magnum. A mouse gun is an option, but only as a last resort.

Have you seen the Kimber TEN? Polymer frame 1911 3" BBL. Weighs as much as my scandium S&W1911, and is the same dimentions (well my Smith is a 3.25" BBL, I'd prefer a 3") but takes a 13 round .45 double-stack mag.

I really like the looks of them, but I don't think I could get the full-size mags in Mass, even if I managed to get the Kimber behind the lines (The Kahr is also a non-approved gun, hence why It will be an involved process to get it)
