My family is from the south and I was raised on sweet tea, gramma's tea is legendary! I'm happy to report that I have some friends that frequent my place just to taste my sweet brew.. I enjoy that!

Uhhh... Three tea bags and a heaping cup o' sucrose for a 3 quart pitcher. You're assembly instructions will vary depending on your tea maker.

wait, you're kidding, right? Only 3 tea bags? Are these regular sized tea bags? (being un-Southern, I drink my iced tea unsweetened, with lemon.)

3 sounds a bit thin... but "iced tea unsweetened"?!?! Heathen.

SA, pretty much. We cheat and use a tea maker which does a decent job. So the hot liquor melts the sugar as it's making it.My mom destroyed her tea maker and does it the old fashioned way on the stove. Now I'm thirsty...
