Sharp as a Marble

The .223 / 5.56mm was primarily designed to humiliate the person being shot. The 6.8 was designed to kill, even if it doesn't hit the intended target. Even though they both use the same lowers, you can clearly see that the 6.8 Remington Special Purpose Cartridge is a superior round.

As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words*

*And of course, Photoshop's worth about $500 bucks...

now that's funny! Let's hope VPC Blog finds that one!

Almost makes the 6.8 Rem SPC not look like an intermediate round.

I'm still saving for an M-14 carbine (and will still be saving as you're having fun sending lead downrange....)

The 6.8 SPC is such a powerful round that it is often confused for the 6.9 PSH.

So what?

LOL! I can't wait to see Remington market that! Wouldn't be hard to ream out the barrel to take it but the main problem I see is figuring out how much twist it would need. Too much and you're knotted.

Where the hell did you find the ridiculously over-sized novelty quarter?

On a more serious note, whats the price look like for a case of 6.8 ammo?

You're talking a dollar a round right now, hence why I'm going to reload (approx. 45-50 cents instead).
