The EBR itch has been scratched, namely in the form of "Oh, lovely, I just rear ended someone". Luckily, the 3" steel bumpers on the front of the Jeep took the brunt of the hit, crumpling just enough to only scratch the lady's bumper. Literally, it was just a scratch. Luckily for me, she had already smashed her bumper a few weeks ago and was already in the process of getting a new one.
No police or insurance was involved. But my Jeep is going to need a little body work and there goes any chances I had at all of picking up a new EBR any time soon.
Off to Quadratec. Luckily for me a new front bumper is only $170. I'll need a little work done on the front left fender and that'll need a new paint job too (blech) but it doesn't appear that the frame was damaged at all. And best of all, nobody was hurt.
