For many of you out there who read gun blogs, this is going to be a little anti-climactic, but it's time we started putting the spotlight on one of the worst anti-rights individuals out there.

First and foremost, let's have some up front honesty. Some of the information I am about to share with you will have to be taken on faith. If I can merge my face in with a Victoria's Secret model, I could easily fake the following screen shots. I assure you this is not the case and I would testify in court under oath if need be that what you are seeing is real.

Also, due to the nature of the Internet, my accusations are based on what information I can get. Speaking for myself, I am 100% sure of what I am going to say, but because I value the truth more than being right, please consider the evidence I am submitting and think about it for yourself.

A while back, I received some fairly nasty comments from Alexander Tristan Riley, aka ATR and Culturologist  (see here, here, here, here, and here). Alex Riley is a vile, homophobic, virulently anti-rights bigot. All you need to do is read his blog and you will see how hateful and mean spirited he is.

Except you can't. Seems like Alex Riley is now on the Board of Directors of Cease Fire, PA. And in his super important position, it seems like he doesn't want you to see what he used to write. A modern day Winston Smith, Alex is putting everything down the memory hole. He's even gone through and scrubbed Google's cache so you can't look it back up.

Why? What is he hiding? Thirdpower has a few choice comments from Alex. From his post, you can find more. His blogs were more of the same, plenty of stuff that would bring much opprobrium to Cease Fire, and for that he's furiously hiding everything he ever wrote.

Looking through my logs, here are the comments and the IP left by Alex.

Using NSLOOKUP, this resolves to

> 208.101.188.16
Server:  halfrunt.heartofgold.robballen.com
Address:  192.168.x.x:53

Name:    208.101.188.16.dynamic.dejazzd.com
Address:  208.101.188.16

A little research shows that this ends up at Bucknell University, where Professor Riley teaches. *CLARIFICATION - To clarify, I mean that DeJazzd services that area, not that the IP belongs to Bucknell University specifically.

None of this is big news in and of itself. Riley is a loudmouthed coward who hides his work now that he's trying to be a big shot for some feather weight gun control group.

Let's forward on a bit, shall we? A few of us gun blogs started getting hits from a blog called "Guns Make Us Safe" and a rather vile, foul-mouthed racist named NRAFOUREVER. The comments were so vile that I did something I rarely do, and that is delete the comments.

Guns Make Us Safe was a "parody" blog, meant to portray gun owners as inbred, redneck, Jesus freaks who can't spell. While I cannot make 100% sure of the connection, another NRAFOUREVER poster left some very racist garbage on YouTube - the language used, misspellings, capitalization, etc. were practically identical to that found on Guns Make Us Safe. David Codrea has the skinny here, but prepared to be sickened.

Here is the information on the troll NRAFOUREVER

6114 re: It's time to admit that it is a living, breathing tablet NRAFOUREVER 64.178.120.6
6113 re: Freedom parasites NRAFOUREVER 64.178.120.6
6120 re: Comment removal NRAFOUREVER 64.178.120.6

Guess where this IP address resolves to?

> 64.178.120.6
Server:  halfrunt.heartofgold.robballen.com
Address:  192.168.x.x:53

Name:    64.178.120.6.dynamic.dejazzd.com
Address:  64.178.120.6

That's right... Bucknell University again.

Now, I received hits (just two, actually) from GMUS and they were the same IP - 64.178.120.6. Unfortunately, I do not pay for SiteMeter's services so I don't have history, but suffice it to say NRAFOUREVER ran Guns Make Us Safe. The writing style of the blog matched that of the YouTube NRAFOUREVER. And Alex Riley's ISP matches that of NRAFOUREVER. And Alex left comments over at other blogs that had the exact same IP address.

I believe that Alex Riley was also NRAFOUREVER. I believe that Alex Riley, who determined that us gunnies were a lot smarter than he could counter (if you'll notice, not once does he ever argue facts but simply states that he has credentials and that makes him better than us) set up a fake gun web site as a strawman to try to feed his "vision" of what gun owners are like. I think he also used the NRAFOUREVER persona to smear gun rights activists and even went so far as to post his drivel on YouTube to try to reach a more Global view. And I believe that Alex Riley deleted what he could to cover his tracks.

Alex has deleted enough to prevent proving this beyond a shadow of a doubt. In court, this would not stand as the evidence was tampered with. But as with most anti-rights bigots, Alex fits a pattern. He envisions anyone who has guns as being as violent as he himself is and as untrustworthy. When we didn't fit the pattern, instead of changing his mind, he simply made up a strawman that he could demolish. I have more to write on this behavior later.

Now that he's a member of Cease Fire, Alex cannot have such childishness exposed. It is not becoming of a member of the Board of Directors of an organization struggling to maintain relevance. Finding out that on of your board members is a trash mouthed racist, bigot, and homophobe isn't going to bring in the donations.

Again, in the interest of honesty and truth, this isn't an open and shut case. Bucknell University isn't just Alex Riley. One of Alex's students may have been brainwashed by the Professor and decided he needed to do something about it. That student may have just happened to post from Alex's house or somehow Alex's lease on his IP expired and was transferred immediately to NRAFOUREVER and back and forth. Hard to say, but not very convincing.

If this is the type of people the Anti-Gun groups need, then we are further ahead in winning than we think. But now it not the time to back off. Many others out there have more information and IP addresses and the such, along with (hopefully) some screen shots of Alex's old haunts. Even if it is simply a chance in a 4,294,967,296 and the IP's are an anomaly, Alex was scared enough to delete the blogs we knew were his because that information would come back to bite him in the ass.

I urge any readers with more information to come forward. I also urge any other bloggers to post what they can and continue to link to each other. The more information we can provide, the better proof we have to take this to another level and expose a vile, racist bigot who has no place on the board of any organization.

I also urge any readers to expose flaws in my logic or errors in anything I have said. The truth is paramount and unlike Alex, I will not flinch from self-correction.

Thanks.

That 64.178.120.6 IP address is the one from which I got the following charming comments, which I since deleted (the only comments that weren't commercial spam that I've ever deleted):

Yeah, "not much to add" is right.

But do scoop your little pile of shit on to the steaming mountain of it your rifle-humping butt buddies have built.

I bet you came in your pants when the Assault Weapons Ban expired, didn't you? Just THINKING about getting a new assault rifle barrel up the poophole had you cream-cream-creaming your 1980s bleached jeans.

Your blog is shit, Bubba.

When are you going on YOUR mall rampage?

. . . and

Yeah, "public safety" ain't all it's cracked up to be. After all, it's mostly just little dark-skinned kids dying in the inner cities anyway, heh, Herr Himmler?

You've done went and jammed your rifle too far up your ass, Jethro, and it's punctured that very small bunch of nerve cells in your head that, in later and more advanced primates, became a brain.

Awesome post, Robb, nice job sleuthing. I wonder what they put in that Bucknell water ...

Wow, fine bit of detective work and exposure there, Robb. When I get the chance, this post will definitely be linked to, and hopefully the word of this will spread far and wide. Of course, I would not expect an organization such as Cease Fire to really care about the moral stature of its board, but its members might...

Excellent blog, you appear very internet savvy. Keep refuting the steaming piles that the gun grabbers dump all over the place.

Good work, Robb. I saw you dropped by my site and left a comment...unfortunately I didn't think to check the IP address of the anonymous troll who left the comment I was ruminating on. But I wouldn't be surprised if it was teh esteemed *sic* Perfesser Riley...

My favorite quote of his:

are we sure this Riley fellow isn't some sort of self-appointed agent provocateur? because, y'know, it'd be so damn hard for me to think of a worse way to agitate for the anti-gun, ban-em-all position than his. it'd be so pitifully easy for anybody who's ever managed to get through even a decent community college to work up a better anti-gun argument than his; i've done it myself plenty of times. he's a caricature, and i'd hate to think that's not intentional.

Hate to poop on your parade buddy but do you really think Bucknell University uses Dejazzed as its ISP? I rather think they'd need a bigger pipe than a DSL link into that place don't you?

I'd be a little more careful about throwing around such accusations if I were you too. Universities have plenty of cash and top lawyers to deal with trouble makers.

Hi Huge. Nice of you to drop by. Next time, try reading a little better ok? I'm not saying Alex is doing it from Bucknell, but that Bucknell is in Lewisberg, where Alex is. I would assume Alex's residence doesn't use Bucknell's internet connection.

And what the hell is Bucknell going to sue me for? For saying one of their professors is quite possibly someone who has to stoop to posting racist comments in order to try to make his point? I don't think they're lawyers are that good.

So, nope. Not going to stop. In fact, I plan on making even more "trouble".

Not to mention a longstanding relationship between D&E Communications and Bucknell, to where they list them as a "key account" (their words, not mine), have a testimonial page about how they help them broadcast games, Bucknell's IT has a page where they advise how to get D&E ISP services for off-campus and recently, the university gave alumni honors to the big D&E mucky-muck...

Great work! Glad I don't live in PA...up here in Michigan, fortunately we have folks like the MCRGO who stay on top of idiots like that.
