The more I read about Fred Thompson the more I like him, and the more I scratch my heads that the boobs ahead of him.

Who are these people who think Mitt, Rudy, or Mike will make a good Prez?

Well, I think it has a lot to do with the fact that Fred is an actual Conservative Republican and the others are RINOs. The Media, while preferring to see the Democrats in the White House, could live with any of the top contenders because a lot of their policies are indistinguishable from that of their preferred party.

Fred is semi-Reganesque and that terrifies them. It's easier to write him off as lazy, just don't cover him that much and then repeat that he's lazy, hence why you don't cover him that much. It's self serving.

I don't know if he's going to get the nomination. As much as I like him I have a feeling "establishment" candidates stand a better chance. Ron Paul and Fred Thompson go against the grain and that's an anathema to DC politics.

I think it should be Civil Liberties Insurance Technology, then we can just refer to it by the acronym.
