I continue to believe that the best source of information regarding gun control and its follies remains The Brady Campaign Blog itself. Paul Helmke picks a single bad apple and declares the whole forest rotten in his inaptly titled "Reasoned Discourse".

Paul is claiming that a single, tasteless fax illustrates how depraved us gun nuts (as they call us) are and why they can't have a reasonable discussion on the merits of gun control.

Now, please, if you're on the fence about gun control, please go read the blog posts and the comments that follow. I think you'll find that the vast majority of the pro-gun commenters (which also happen to be a vast majority of the commenters there) are congenial, laying out their facts and backing them up with links and whatnot.

Then, just take a look at how the anti-freedom gun controllers respond.

You tell me who's not participating in "reasoned discourse".

And if you don't comment there, please sign up and show your support, regardless of your side in the matter. If you think there is reasonable gun control, please debate it with us. We crave actual discussion and instead we get... well, just go over there and judge for yourself.
