And tonight was a great friggin' night at the range. Nobody there, so picking up my brass was a cinch. And shot a little .22 for fun.
The first few magazines I went through were just breathing and control exercises. Wasn't going for pinpoint accuracy, but rather rapid target acquisition. Hit the paper every time, but quite a few low shots. Then I did some off hand, and I won't post those pics. Granted, I hit the target, it was as shaky as it gets.
However, when I really started concentrating, damn... Who says 10mm is hard to control?
Here's 10 yards using Weaver stance (click the images for larger)

Not too shabby. A few low ones but nothing to cry over.
Then I decided to move out to 15 yards. Again, not bad for a sub-compact 10mm.

Then for poops and giggles, I decided to try using an isosceles stance. Now, at 6'3", I look like a complete dork hunched over with my arms straight out and locked. But after shooting this, I'm not sure I care what I look like.

That's what I'm talking about! Next week I might try all isosceles shooting. I enjoyed it even though it was a little uncomfortable. However, I felt solid in my grip and my sights never wavered.
Afterwards, I took out any remaining stress on a poor piece of paper using the .22. I felt sorry for the range guy. Out of the three 100 yard rifle ranges, one motor was burned out, one lane's target holder was shot off, and the last one got stuck mid-way. He had to spend 15 minutes fixing it (and I only shot for 10!).
Anyway, here's the .22 shots. Everything in the black / center is at 50 yards, the ones that are up high are at 100 yards. Open sights.

Yeah, a 22 might be a wimpy round, but I can hit your sorry ass enough times to make it stop tickling ;)
Shooting every week has really, really, really improved my aim. I can't wait to start with the .357 Magnum too. And hopefully some day soon, a nice new(er) rifle too.
Have you kept yourself well regulated this week?
