Over at the HuffPo, some dimwit broad tries to argue for gun control. Carnaby simply eviscerates her 'logic'. Go over and read his post, then come back. I'll wait.
Anyway, this moronic bint gets 99.9% of her facts completely and totally wrong. Eddie Eagle does not teach kids to shoot guns - he teaches them to avoid a gun if they find one and to tell an adult. She lies about the federal government's role in the VT shooting - She has BSD and pins it on a single man (Bush), but technically she's referring to the feds. She's totally wrong on the "Well Regulated Militia", something that can be proven over and over again to mean "well disciplined" or "well practiced". You can look up the founder's own words on this.
Carnaby illustrates the errors, quite well, but I fear to no avail.
Look at the comments over at the HuffPo. They all roll around in the shit commenting how nice it smells and what a lovely flavor it has. They know they're being fed lies yet they just open their gaping maws and ask for more. Heaven forbid you try to point it out to them, too! Oh no!
These people scare me. They scare me because they are immune to logic and 'feel' their way through things rather than think. They scare me because they kill more people each year through their failed programs and policies. They scare me with their groupthink mentality (something that happens on the right, too. And those people scare me as well).
But here's the kicker. I have guns. That makes me a coward? Whatever you have to tell yourself to get to sleep at night is fine with me. I've never killed another human being. I have protected my own life with a gun before. I take responsibility for protecting my family. If that's cowardice, I'd hate to see what those people's lives are like.
The HuffPoians can call me whatever they like. They can scream "gun control" from every rooftop. They can pound their representatives with bajillions of emails & phone calls crying for taking guns away. They can pass laws. They can make pretty posters and sit around a drum circle, hitting a bong and chant for disarmament.
It won't do a bit of good.
