Went shooting on Saturday with a buddy of mine. I've manged to stop milking the grip and shooting too low, but I cannot for the life of me seem to stop shooting to the left. My friend shot a magazine and all his ended up leftward as well.
Great. Out of all the Glocks in the world I get a liberal one.
Bad jokes aside, I'm thinking my sights might be slightly off. I'll have a gunsmith check them or try to use the rest next time to see if I can pinpoint the problem.
However, I did shoot a lot offhand (left handed for me) as that is my weakest shooting style, and I was amazed at how well I did. My left hand shakes for some reason, and I'm not usually well coordinated, but I was lethally accurate at 10 yards with most of the shots hitting the black (and all of them at least hitting the target!).
The funny thing? They all were on the right side.
Can't double tap worth a shit with the 10, at least not rapidly. It takes a good second and a half before I'm back on COM accurately. If I try to go too fast, I'd hit the target in the heart the place the next round in the balls. I'm not sure that's too bad of a thing, though.
My buddy has a nice .22 pistol and while a .22 would only tickle a goblin, I could put enough of them in a 1" grouping in short order to probably do enough damage to take them down.
I think I'll stick with the 10 for self defense though.
