I used to consider God a benevolent, caring being that loved us. But I'm slowly losing faith in that view since, IMHO, a caring, loving God wouldn't allow Go West's "King of Wishful Thinking" to get stuck in my head.
Add to the fact that the other day had Alabama's "Love in the first degree" permanently stuck on repeat in my brain, and I'd wager a bet the old man has it in for me.
