The iMac I got for work is nice. Really nice. So nice in fact I wish there was a way for me to scrounge up $1500 and get one. While I'm wishing, I should just upgrade to the 24" monitor for an extra $500 clams.
But you know what they say - poop in one hand and wish in the other and see which one fills up first (I have no idea what that means, but it's got the word "poop" in there so it must be worth saying).
Anyway, it's got everything built in - there would be no upgrading. But with USB, I should be able to add things on externally if I needed. Plus, I could easily do podcasting, something I've wanted to do for a while now. Not that I can't do it on the PC, it's just prettier on the Mac. It's a nice UI (although I've tanked it already several times. It sure as hell doesn't like network problems, does it?), pretty damn responsive, and very, very, very slick UI elements.
I've got to go restrain myself from taking the one in my office home.
Don't worry PC people, I'm not switching, but it would be nice to have sitting around the house. Maybe I can trick the Mrs. into thinking it's "for the girls".
