Seems like a bunch of Democrats have their panties in a wad about last night’s Cut & Run vote and are calling it a ‘stunt’ by the GOP. Someone said they were Shocked! Shocked I tell you! that anyone would make something this important into a political event.

WTF? They’re politicians. The weather is a political event. It’s like saying you’re surprised an accountant would stoop to using math to do your taxes.

I hate politicians. I really do. I’m glad the Republicans called the Dems ‘ bluff here and that we can now put behind us the dangerous notion of immediate withdrawal from Iraq. You can bemoan all you want about why we went in the first place, but the fact is we’re there and started a job and we need to finish it. But of course, the Republicans forced through a hastily worded resolution that is akin to ‘Have you stopped beating your wife?’ question for the Democrats.

Oh well….
