Back in 1995, I purchased an extra 4 megabytes of memory for my computer at a cost of $160 (each 1M SIMM was $40 and you had to buy them in pairs).
Today, my PC has a Gigabyte of memory which you can get for $100.
Think about it. The amount of memory I have today would have cost $40,000 only 10 years ago. Memory is approximately 400 times cheaper. That’s like buying a 2015 BMW in 2015 for $100. Of course, that ain’t gonna happen, but it’s still an interesting thought.
