I delinked someone today. Someone I’ve read for quite a while but who has finally descended into theocrazieness and is seeing the impending theocracy right around the corner. Since I’m not into all the public delinking, I’m not going to point them out. I will say, however that this blog has been removed from both my blogroll and my RSS reader as I am tired of the silly anti-religious rants.
I don’t understand where people think that saying ‘Stop pushing your morals on me’ only applies to Christians. Morals are constructs. Some people think right and wrong come from God. Some think you can logically define morals. Some people think the small, blue armadillo wearing a fez that lives inside their medicine cabinet is the source of all good. Some people believe there is no right or wrong. If you think that person X should or should not do Y, regardless of what moral base you pull from, you are guilty of attempting to force your morals on someone else. It’s not just a wacky-fundie thing any more.
What really set me off on this was that said blogger would rather have the government impose his beliefs on a private business rather than let the free market take care of it. And he’s the one afraid of having his freedoms removed by the Bible Squad?
