Yeah, I was wrong too. I posted elsewhere that he was dead, or he'd certainly show up on video before the election. I hate being wrong and right.

I'm still waiting for the final translation/ transcript, though... There's a few questions still in my mind.

Oh, I'm not under the illusion of Osama = All Terrorists like many lefties. He's just one more in a sea of too many and should be killed as soon as possible like the rest of them.

It's just disheartening knowing that many people will use this video as the logic behind voting for Kerry. And if Kerry makes it into the Whitehouse, well then Osama will have found yet another tool to destroy us with.

I just hope this video scares enough people into remembering we're at war.

Saw Peggy Noonan last night and she commented that this was a foolish thing to do. If your enemy wants you dead and is starting to believe you are dead, jumping out of the woodwork and saying 'Peek-a-boo!' is probably not the most intelligent thing to do.

Its like the modern spy novel in reverse. In the novel they pretend to kill the good guy off so the bad guys think he is dead. In Osama's world, the good guys think he is dead so he has to broadcast that he is alive, so they will find him and kill him. Oh well...works for me.
