My server decided to flash me the BSOD twice in like 15 minutes. I think my SCSI controller is freaking out.
Pray to the hardware gods that it was just a glitch....
UPDATE:
The Hardware gods are being spiteful. SaaM may or may not be available throughout the evening as I curse my way through trying to find out what is wrong with my server that was considered 'antique' back in '99.
UPDATE II:
Looks like either I have a bad sector on my main drive or bad memory. I moved several databases off the C:\ drive (since they were put there by default) and freed up several gigs of space. My swap file has also been moved to a RAID set although I can't remember if that was something you're not supposed to do. It's been years since my certification expired!
If it's memory, the fault could show back up at any time. Disk I can deal with 'cuz they've got stacks of them here at work from servers that have been sitting around for years, but Compaq specific memory is a little harder to come by for a server that is so old (1999).
