From the Village Voice:
Republicans don't believe in the imagination, partly because so few of them have one, but mostly because it gets in the way of their chosen work, which is to destroy the human race and the planet. Human beings, who have imaginations, can see a recipe for disaster in the making; Republicans, whose goal in life is to profit from disaster and who don't give a hoot about human beings, either can't or won't. Which is why I personally think they should be exterminated before they cause any more harm.
What makes this even more ironic is that this is part of a play critique.
I'm a Republican. I may be changing my affiliation after the election, but it's because of the disgust I have for the party's recent actions, not the party's goals. This ass-plow thinks I should be exterminated because he thinks I want to destroy life.
Does the word hypocrisy even exist in this man's dictionary?
Let's examine this a bit. Apparently I have no imagination. Now, this blog's graphics and design were created 100% by me. I got scholarships for my artwork in college. I used to play a mean guitar and wrote many of my own songs. When faced with the prospect of purchasing $40,000 worth of software, I figured out how to write the same code over a single weekend and saved my company a lot of money.
And I have no imagination?
No imagination is cranking out a hate filled screed that culminates in a call for genocide in an article that is supposed to be about a play. No imagination is belching out the same tired line that Republicans hate humans and only concern themselves with profit at any cost (Those wacky French were so concerned about profit they ignored Saddam's mass graves, but since they're not Republicans, let's ignore that ok?).
I run my own photography company as well as work full time. I specialize in children's photography!!! Why, as a Republican, would I want to take the effort to capture pictures of little children whose lives I just want to destroy anyway.
Folks, this is the left. The mask has fallen and this is who represents 'peace and love' these days. The Guardian called for assassination. A play critique calls for genocide. When faced with the brutal murder of workers in Fallujah, the best of the left can only say "Screw 'Em".
And you wonder why there is war in our world?
