Someone sent out an email to me and CC'd one of the looney left members of my floor. The email compared a lot of Clinton's actions versus Bushs. A snippet:
Have I got this straight?
Clinton awards Halliburton no-bid contract in Yugoslavia - good...
Bush awards Halliburton no-bid contract in Iraq - bad...
Clinton spends 77 billion on war in Serbia - good..
Bush spends 87 billion in Iraq - bad...
Clinton imposes regime change in Serbia - good...
Bush imposes regime change in Iraq - bad...
Nothing concrete, mostly just observations. The LLL responds.
This is the kind of tools that the republican machine uses to convince people to vote for bush. A lot of what's in here just isn't true and yet it made it to your PC and is effecting millions of voters. I don't receive any propaganda for bush or Kerry, I just watch the news and read the paper to make my decisions. [ed. - em added]
This is a tool, mind you and one of the Republican Machine's vast tool box of disinformation to make people vote for Bush. No one votes for Bush under their own free will, it's emails that display opinions that force people to ignore every good bit of information about Kerry.
Next, notice that capitalization is left for Kerry, but not 'bush' nor 'republican'. Subconscious, no? Not really important, but probably relevant.
Finally, I've dealt with this guy before. Regardless of what you tell him, all he will say is it's untrue. He won't point out what is or isn't true, he won't back up his claims, and when I offer to have him come by my cube and pile on the links, he hides behind "Those are all tools of the VRWSM (vast right wing smear machine)". He also blatantly states that the government is responsible for taking care of him and should guarantee him a job.
Lenin knew what he was talking about, didn't he?
