Wow. This is a fantastic read. It's good to see someone from engage in cognitive dissonance and come out with answers that aren't a product of preconception.
I understand how hard it is to look at something and try to see it from a perspective you absolutely know to be wrong*. This article shows outstanding character and the questions every Bush Hater should ask themselves. But the main thing the author keeps pointing out Bush is "What if he's right?"

*One day I plan on writing how cognitive dissonance nearly killed me and to this day, the results of that battle have left me scarred for life. It's a difficult thing to discuss. Not because of the subject matter, I have no qualms about telling people I suffer from severe panic attacks associated with bi-polar disorder, but the fact that I'm not the best writer in the world and that story is one of the more important ones that I tell correctly.
