Also, from what I understand, the Glock is like a Honda (or perhaps a Honda of 5 years ago): it will get you where you want to go reliably and ably and cheaply...but not with a lot of style. Whereas the SIG will cost you alot, but it is worth every penny for smoothness, even more reliability, accuracy. One of those things where getting that 2-3% better may cost you 10% more....but there's no other way to get that 2-3% better.

The husband's Glock 23 (.40 cal) is the smoothest thing I've ever shot. Ever. And I've shot most everything.

Call around to see if there's a gunshop with an indoor pistol range that will let you try out both before you decide to buy.
