The life of a full-time-employee / contractor is interesting. I work for my employer, they
whore contract me out to other places. The first place I started working at lasted 20+ months which was a bit long for me, but today I start a new contract that’s only slated for 3 months.
The big difference with this contract is that I should be able to work remotely for the majority of the time. Maybe 1 or 2 days at the client’s every week or two, but the rest of the time will be spent in the office (which is gorgeous) or telecommuting.
However… this means I’m going to be at a new client’s office for the next few days, trying to get up to speed as quickly as possible. Blog? You get this post and you’ll like it, mister.
Oh, and I pushed out some fixes to various bugs and yet somehow my spam blocker got lost in the transfer. Pardon the crapweasels selling How To Win Big at Bingo and peepee pills. I’m cleaning them up as quickly as I can.
