This fat white hillbilly gun-nut from NY (gun-nut by lack of availability growing up) has turned a white woman, a middle aged Hispanic male and a young white male into a gun-nut. I have taught numerous inner-city teens how to properly handle and shoot firearms. some of them decided it was not for them at this time. I have helped another Hispanic male get his CCW (He had a NY CCW years ago). I helped two young white males, both computer types, one is currently seeking a teaching career, acquire their first firearms and taught them how to shoot them. One of them is looking to purchase his second for target practice.
My son, who was just home on leave after 3 months on Parris Island, informed me that he was the most knowledgeable recruit in firearms training. He is 19.
Some of my neighbors think I'm nuts, they are the same ones who want to go to the range and shoot stuff.
We, us gun-nuts, have to show others that we do behave rationally. We have normal lives. We need to reach out to those who do not fit in our demographic and show them how to enjoy our sports to protect our future generation's right to do the same.

You have to love the use and abuse of "fat white males at gun shows." Years ago, one of our local TV head was doing a piece in front of a gun show and was hinting the same. The problem was that this being Miami you could see in the background the Hispanics flowing in an out of the auditorium.
Good news is that media down here pretty much gave up on attacking Gun Shows. I am guessing they don't want to be branded as racists.

Hey, that's my Favorite Gun Show! A little "Clarification" is in order. First, about 10% of the Table Sellers are FEMALE, usually Wives helping their Husbands earn a Buck. Second, there are plenty of FEMALE Customers. Third, I've seen plenty of AFRICAN-AMERICAN Customers there. Fourth, if you go there, say hello to my friend Patrick, who sells WW2 Collectables ONLY. Fifth, there's a lot of Military Surplus Dealers there.

And Lastly, Christopher Evens is a Left-Wing Anti-Gun Hack who writes for a Left-Wing Anti-Gun Rag that refuses to admit that most of the Guns used by "Cleveland Teenagers" have been stolen, not bought. And the Judges up in Cleveland tend to let half of THEM walk out on with Low Bail. Of course, they don't want to address the Fact that 95% of the Shootings are Gang and/or Drug Related, and take place in the Ghetto, a place that Evens wouldn't live in if you paid for the House.
