You know how sometimes, if your car starts to go out of control, the best thing to do is take your hands off the wheel to let it correct itself ever so slightly before trying to regain control?
I almost feel like that now in regards to politics. Let the moochers run wild. Soon, the teat will dry up (alas, taking much of my hard earned labor with it) and the resulting ‘correction’ will be… interesting to say the least. I’m not sure we’re going to be able to gain control of the situation while the leeches are busy sucking the blood out of society, I don’t know.
What I do know is that more ammo is called for.

+1 Robb...turn into the iceberg.
I have a wallet full of cash and a rain check for the maximum qty of ammo allowed at the sale price from my local farm supply store.
Swing by Walmart a week from now, and you'll see a pre-season scrimmage of the zombie apocalypse.

Some people have the ability to heed warnings. Other people can be warned, admonished, taught, and exampled for endlessly... and will still reach out, burn themselves, and say they didn't know it was dangerous.
You know, the Election is over. Even if they found tons of shenanigans with the Democratic Vote, Obama still had more than enough to win.
So, the rest of it gets fought out in the House and the Courts. Nothing I can do except throw some cash at the SAF.
On a personal level, I just took advantage of the Ammo sale at Gander Mountain and got a Bucket of Remington Gold .22lr. Used my 10% off Veteran's Discount, and I got it for less than Sale Price, even with Ohio State Taxes.
Never hurts to have a LOT of .22lr. Might need to do some Rabbit and Squirrel Hunting for Dinner this Winter.
And for "PLan B," of course.

I've said it a couple of times since the election; if I were in Congress, I'd give Obama everything he wants and give the American people everything they voted for. They asked for it; give it to them. I'll take care of me and mine; let them rely on the beneficence of the federal government. Unfortunately, in the real world, the idiots will do their best to drag the rest of us down with them.

Pretty much. However, with the Stupid Party keeping Boehner as speaker, I don't look for much in the way of spine unless someone holds a large hammer over his head.
Yeah, ammo, primers, powder, bullets, mags, extra canned goods, that kind of thing. And I think I'll enlarge the garden a bit, and hope for better weather next year.
