Shepherd K says: on 4/15/2011 at 4:56 PM I'd say "Oooo, shiny!", but it's not exactly shiny. Is it? Nice purchase. Frankly, I'm jealous. Everybody's posting photos of their new toys, and I can't come out and play. One of these days, I'll get the M&P in a .45. aczarnowski says: on 4/15/2011 at 5:02 PM Welcome to the slightly lighter side of the dark side. We have replaceable back straps. You'll like it here. ;) guffaw says: on 4/16/2011 at 12:06 PM Good for you! Speakertweaker says: on 4/16/2011 at 10:39 PM Shiny! tweaker Robin says: on 4/17/2011 at 5:07 PM Man - pretty sweet! DirtCrashr says: on 4/17/2011 at 7:12 PM .40's good and ubiquitous, but I hear that there are issues with reloading for it. Us not-presently-working dudes are supposed to roll our own to save money. Robb Allen says: on 4/17/2011 at 7:21 PM I'm not presently working, so even rolling my own is out of the question ;) Technically, all I need is brass since the dies for the 10mm are the same. However, I'm thinking only factory ammo for this one. Most of the kBoom! stories I hear seem to revolve around .40 reloads for some reason. Laughingdog says: on 4/18/2011 at 12:42 AM My understanding is that one of two things that cause those kabooms in .40: idiots playing with really hot loads, and people reusing glock brass without running it through one of those press-through dies to get it straight again. Having a progressive press, doing .40 would just be too much of a pain in the butt for me. DirtCrashr says: on 4/18/2011 at 12:00 PM Yes that's what I heard too - reloads and bullet crimp or lack thereof. Good luck on the interviews - maybe you can write a program that will automagically do the rez? aeronathan says: on 4/18/2011 at 12:50 PM Good choice. Love my M&P9C and an M&P45 is on the "to buy" list. Skip says: on 4/19/2011 at 1:46 AM Tupperware...pffffft. [kool] Comments have been closed on this topic.
