I found myself screaming at the TV “YOU HAVE A $*(&!@ OPTIC ON YOUR RIFLE!!!! USE THE $&*^@! THING!!!”
Nothing like watching people who somehow magically have found a small, limited ammo cache use full auto spray-and-pray to try to take out someone by looking at them over the optic.
*Sigh*

You're forgetting the National Guard convoy that he hijacked. I bet his ammo wasn't as limited as you might think.

And even if you happen to have an ammo cache, it doesn't help when you have one 30 round mag in the rifle. I went nuts, too. Why show the video looking through the optic if it has no bearing on the scene because the shooter doesn't use it at all? All that time in the world to take the shot and nothing.
Eh, it bugged me a bit. The use of a body to stop both 5.56 and 7.62 rounds was worse in my mind.

Gotta agree, that was some of the worst shooting I have ever seen! Who the hell taught them how to shoot?

Also hiding behind car doors and a shack made of sheet metal lol
concealment != cover

What kills me is that they can take a head shot on a moving zombie while running across a field and not even have to shoulder the rifle, but firing from a prone position on a stationary live attacker, they can't hit a thing.
@Divemedic
The running head shots are getting on my nerves too. And why the hell isn't everyone carrying around a baseball bat or something? Most of them are slow enough that you can just whack in the head or kneecap and keep moving, no need to waste what little ammunition they have left.

Most people don't know the difference between cover and concealment, even in the shooting community.
The reason the body stuck out in my mind is because of all of the rounds that clearly (through the use of TV magic) hit the body. I don't recall that many hits to the sheet metal they were using as cover.
Daryl is smart using the crossbow, compared to those using firearms to take out walkers/biters at close range.

Quit your whining! Your just pissed you didn't think of the zombie truck bomb first.
The only person to even appear to use the optics or sights on their weapon was Rick, and every time they showed the view through his optic he was aiming high and to the right, which is of course where it showed his rounds striking. I'm all for using Kentucky Windage when you have to, but not when your sights are zeroed in.
I made the comment that the same people that can head shot a zed at 35 yards can't hit a human with an optic equipped rifle at any range beyond 15 yards. Pathetic...
