At work some computers are on battery backup, most aren't. The standalone battery backups wind up less reliable than the ordinary power, and the computers attached more likely to have power problems.
So, with all those gigawatts of irony, are we both getting a *ahem* "charge" out of this?
It's sad how long it took for me to notice that was 1.1 squared.

A long time ago for a utility far away, my wife worked for an engineering firm that was designing a "smart relay" system for use in lock-out/tag-out. Nobody was sure why the utility was bothering, since the linemen wouldn't actually use a soft lock-out/tag-out.
