When we took the family to Montgomery, AL, I was simply floored with all the history concentrated into such a small place. The civil war started there, and down the street the Civil Rights movement started in earnest. I stood on the porch of the Dexter Parsonage over the missing chunk of concrete from the bomb thrown at the Kings that indicated the beginning of something so large, we’re still dealing with it. I walked through the kitchen where MLK prayed to God, asking him for strength. The man...

But staff refused to sell the 57p pack of teaspoons to Liam, from Deardengate, because he was not 18. However, the award for “Most Cake Taken by a Single Utterance” goes to the mother "Knives, forks I can understand but teaspoons? No," she said. Hey, let's take a great photograph of people shooting by squatting in between their targets. There is no excuse for that at all. Even the best miss from time to time. In his effort to be 'edgy', this idiot has given a very bad impression. I have no desire to make what he did illegal, but I do have every right to call him a moron and to shun him from dinner parties.

Maybe people are too stupid to carry guns On May 21, a judge of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California dismissed a complaint filed by a woman who said she had purchased "Cap'n Crunch with Crunchberries" because she believed "crunchberries" were real fruit. This story contains multiple layers of FAIL! First, a bunch of dudes are drinking and breaking shit. Cops arrive. Most guys just head inside but Idiot Numero Uno decides to pull a replica gun on the cops. That's Fail #1. Cops respond by not repeatedly ventilating the perp with their real guns. That's Fail #2. Third Tomas Cruz-Carrera is charged with carrying a concealed dangerous instrument, aggravated menacing and disorderly conduct. Points two and three are perfectly valid. Point one...

In this case, it was lethal Benally then demonstrated by putting his own 9mm Ruger, which he believed to be unloaded, to his head and firing it, Mitchell said. There's dumb, there's USDA Grade A dumb, and then there's lethally stupid. This guy gets marks in all three columns. If this doesn't win a Darwin award, then the Darwin awards aren't worth anything any more. Hat Tip Say Uncle, who knows the best way to check a firearm's condition is to point it at a hippie first.

Want to come across as a pro-gun & pro-gun safety candidate. Don't pose half naked with your fingers on the trigger then get upset when someone posts the picture online. Seriously folks, show a bit of common sense, okay?

This was not the right time, and definitely not the right place The alleged crook scooped up four Smith & Wesson guns from a vendor's table at the RK Gun Inc. show Sunday at Cessna Activity Center, 2744 George Washington Blvd. But he didn't make it far. The vendor and at least two others who were at the show grabbed the man before he could make it out the door, held him down, then cuffed him with zip ties -- hard plastic fasteners -- until law enforcement officers arrived. Austin...
