Many gun-banners are more than happy to blame gun manufacturers or those who sell firearms for the crimes committed by others. In their tiny little minds, they see no issues with blaming person X for the actions of person Y because they want to ban guns & know they cannot do it outright. So the plan to make manufacturing and selling so fraught with peril is a good thing for them. Suddenly, though, the very power they give to harass legitimate businesses ends us harassing legitimate...

Easy. Just pick any random topic and give them a few minutes. They’ll merge their pet topics into anything. Take the discussion on Gibson’s new guitar line made from the wood that was illegally confiscated. (The comments are Disqus which means they’re not in any particularly understandable order, so I can’t point you to any link in particular, but you’ll see the guy). Doesn’t matter that the post is about guitars, it’s about a company using the same wood as every other guitar manufacturer in...

As an activist, you tend to be very involved in a relatively small part of the bigger picture. For a relevant example, I’d say the vast majority of the population doesn’t spend the amount of time and effort I do into firearm related politics. Doing so tends to focus your attention to details and if you’re not careful, you’ll find yourself trying to shoehorn everything into the tiny box you call ‘activism’. There have been several items of interest to me late.  Take this article over at Ace...

Got a note from a friend of mine here in God’s Waiting Room (aka Florida) about a run in with the popo that her husband had. She wants this story out there for the world to see Dan got pulled over by a statie today because he didn't get over into the middle lane fast enough when passing their vehicles and a car they'd pulled over. The trooper asked Dan if he had a weapon in the car, and of course Dan said, "Yes, I'm a CCW holder and my pistol is locked in the glove compartment." The trooper...

Yesterday I made a small joke about not being able to eat an AR-15 after the SHTF. It was really said tongue in cheek because… well, this comment from McThag sums it up nicely Might not be able to eat an AR, but there's lots of people without one who bought lots of food. Read that. Let it simmer in your brain for a little bit if you need. What good is all your work if you cannot defend the fruits of your labor? Come TEOTWAWKI, the police will not be there to arrest the man murdering your...

Absolutely not. I do not care if my speech offends you. I do not care if you find my lifestyle to go against your religious beliefs. Hell, I don’t care if your lifestyle goes against my religious beliefs (I’m pretty confident that the God I worship isn’t a fragile little flower who wilts over a crappy Internet video). In a submission to forthcoming international talks on internet governance, the Gulf state said “there is a crying need for international collaboration to address ‘freedom of...
