So I have this blog where I can spill out my guts to the entire world and right now, there’s so much I want to talk about but cannot (Joe, you know what it is). Came into work yesterday. Had a cup of coffee. Went to get more java. Came back to desk. Sat down. Ripped ass of pants in half. I only tell you this because it was damn funny watching me waddle out of the building holding my laptop over my tush.

To all my fellow soldiers, be aware of this WASHINGTON -- Thieves took sensitive personal information on 26.5 million U.S. veterans, including Social Security numbers and birth dates, after a Veterans Affairs employee improperly brought the material home, the government said Monday. The information involved mainly those veterans who served and have been discharged since 1975, said VA Secretary Jim Nicholson. Especially after receiving an All IT email from the Vice President, who in an effort to get us all to join a special ‘thank you’ type outing, ends with Don’t miss this opportunity. How many times do you get the chance to blow out of work early, drink beer, and play video games?  To which I promptly replied:  Usually every Tuesday. My boss, of course, replies with: What address should I mail your stuff to?

There are a lot of people here at work who use custom color schemes on their computers instead of the standard white background with black text. Black & white is harsh on your eyes and IIRC, a blue background with yellow text is one of the easiest on your eyes to use. I question some of the one’s I see around here – sage background with orange text – but only from an aesthetics point of view. However, there’s this one guy downstairs who uses a bright red background and yellow text. It...
