Ron Paul is not the only man who can save America. Electing Sarah Palin is not going to fix the economy. A second Obama term is not going to provide adequate healthcare for every man woman and child. Putting Ralph Nader in office would provide countless hours of entertainment, but it wouldn’t do squat for the environment. The congressman you think is the most evil thing this side of Satan? He’s not going to do much more than pad his pockets the same way the senator you think is the cat’s meow...

Buying votes by forcing banks to forgive student loans is the most transparent thing he’s done yet. Granted, for all their hue and cry, these protestors tend to vote very infrequently. The most vocal leftists I’ve ever known personally rarely, if ever, voted. So this might not be the best use of money. Granted, it’s not his anyway so there’s little reason to not try!

JayG brings us a report of a professional burglar after being caught. Jay goes over some of the details that are very important to understand on things to do to make your own home less attractive to burglars, but this nugget from the goblin himself is a point I want to highlight He stated that he kept coming back to this area because it was the easiest area that yielded the most reward without risk. … He also said in Fairdale they would pull guns on you if spotted in a neighbor’s...

So, my blogging platform, Ansible, has been rock solid for the past few years. I’ve learned a LOT since I built it, and it’s getting about that time to completely redo it from scratch. I wasn’t into LINQ or the Entity Framework when I first built it, so I missed out on a lot of ways to really tighten up the code and make it a bit more modular. If I’m going to rewrite it, it’s going to have to be from scratch. The biggest PITA I had in the code is getting the API’s working so that I could use...

So, around these parts, there’s a lot of cars with stickers like this on them Florida, being a peninsula, has a lot of people with boats so I guess this is to be expected. I got the bright idea to replace the spear guns with AK47’s and, using the same font, make a sticker that said ‘Assault Life’. However, like many ideas I have, I didn’t follow through with it. Primarily my objection was not wanting to perpetuate the whole ‘assault weapon’ meme, but I also am lazy. This weekend I saw a...

Luckily this guy decided to shoot up an empty school to get some well deserved attention. What if he had decided that getting arrested wasn’t enough and waited until the school was full of children? Armed robbery on the FSU campus? That’s unpossible! Guns are illegal on a campus On October 22, 2011 at about 10:50pm, an armed robbery occurred on Academic Way near the Business Building on the north end of campus. TSA fails to catch loaded gun in bag A luggage ramp crew retrieved the .38-caliber handgun after it tumbled from a duffel bag they were loading onto Alaska Airlines Flight 563 to Portland, Ore. The owner took a later flight to Portland, and the gun was turned over to police. So, we’re getting groped and fondled because it’s “for our own good” and “increases security”, yet a loaded pistol just slides on by. From what I’ve managed to pick up, it was one of the worst kinds to have (at the brainstem, I believe). He’s in a coma and they put him on a feeding tube. Doesn’t look good at all. The instant lawmakers, politicians, and bureaucrats realized that they were going to be personally held responsible for violating state preemption laws, they dropped their illegal actions like hot potatoes. It’s sad and funny to watch an animal simply freeze up and fall over. However, the interesting part was that these goats were specifically used for that purpose. They would put them in with the more expensive animals so that in case a predator did show up, the goat would lock in up fear, providing the predator with a...

The gun banners and gov’t officials understood that there was no data to support their desire to ban weapons so they made it up out of whole cloth. Where there wasn’t blood in the streets, the government forced gun dealers to sell firearms to people they knew who’d cause a flood. Now, caught in the act, all they can do is try to push...
