My blogging malaise has seen me miss a few items people have mailed to me. As I said, it’s not that I didn’t have material, I just didn’t have the mind to actually write stuff up. There are a few items that I need to just post and I’ve not really gone over them.
First was an email from someone who fights for gun rights in Canada
Hi, I know that you occasionally write about gun rights issues in other countries. I thought you might find this video interesting – it is my testimony before the House of Commons Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security. The House is currently considering Bill C-19, the government’s attempt to abolish the national registry for rifles and shotguns. Feel free to post and share. By the way, I also run the Canadian gun law resource site – www.firearmslaw.ca. Here is the YouTube link of my testimony Thanks, Solomon
Second has to do with that shiny new ad you see on the right, Cooking With the Troops
Here's a great interview with C. Blake Powers, CEO of WRKO 680am Boston that was done last night. Kevin Whalen of the Pundit Review radio show graciously allowed us about 20 minutes to talk about the charity. http://www.punditreview.com/2011/11/cooking-with-the-troops-c-blake-powers/ Blake, aka "Laughing Wolf" at Blackfive, tells about what Cooking with the Troops is all about and what it is doing and planning to do in the future. This is a charity right on the threshold of breaking out and being able to fulfill all of its plans. It just needs your help and donations.

I have been meaning to push Cooking With the Troops, but it fell to the wayside with my malaise and for that I feel bad. It’s a great cause and if you’ve got some spare change, it’s a good place to spend it.
Finally, some fairly well known gun blogger reviews some survival type bags. I like my 5.11 bag, but it really needs to be packed once and kept as an emergency resource. I need a different bag for just throwing stuff into and toting around. There are some good ideas at that link.
Thanks for putting up with me and my apologies to those who I’ve missed this week.
