Another gun I like that I probably shouldn’t

Guns. Lots of Guns. , You need this

Maybe it’s because my current shotgun is 9’ feet long, but I like the bullpup design. Most of the negative things I’ve heard about the gun were pre-production issues or from people who don’t like bullpups to begin with. The reviews I’ve read from people who’ve had them for a while seem to generally be positive.

I can’t help that I like the looks too.

Like all of Kel-Tecs products which aren't pocket pistols. They aren't in stock anywhere. SU-16, PMR-30, KSG are not available at all at any of my local dealers.

It sucks. Santa could fit a KSG in his sack for me this year.

I will certainly not deny that the KSG had its issues in the past (and it still seems to be having an issue getting to store shelves, but that is Kel-Tec for you), but they have largely been addressed, and, as the saying goes, haters gonna hate.

Me, I want one, if only as a toy. It would have to go through some pretty rigorous testing and evaluation by some impartial parties for me to conclude it would make a good home-defense shotgun, but for something that just seems like a royal hoot to shoot, yeah, it qualifies.

Most of the negative comments about the KSG are from people that have never shot it. Not the most trustworthy of reviewers. :) I'm hoping that someday I can buy one, I think it'll make a kick ass 3-gun shotgun.

I shot one this summer. Didn't have a problem, but I only went through both tubes once, so it wasn't an exhaustive test. Muzzle rise was a bit less than the Mossberg I also shot that day, but not that much. On the other hand, it looks bloody cool, and it's fun to shoot. If I see one that I can afford looking lonely at the gun store, it'll be following me home.
