Possession of Weapons on School Property: Prohibits possession of common pocketknife, except as authorized, at school-sponsored event or on property of any school, school bus, or school bus stop.
I am proud to say that due to Florida Carry shining a light on this piece of garbage legislation, it has been removed from consideration prior to introduction.
You see, there’s a problem in Florida schools where thousands of children are slaughtered each week by the common Swiss Army Knife carried by young children and gangbangers alike. Well, maybe not slaughtered, but there have been lots of deaths right? At least a few hundred fights then? Maybe some slight abrasions? One paper cut confused for a knife cut?
No?
Then why the hell was this person trying to make it a THIRD DEGREE FELONY?
Nonetheless, thanks to the grassroots support that Florida Carry enjoys, we managed to apply enough sunlight to this festering pile of crap bill and had it withdrawn.
