If you read the actual bill, you will see that it does not ban anything. That language was taken out of the final bill. The bill as passed says that any gathering for an event with more than 1000 people, the people putting on the event have to have a safety action plan in place.

Chris, agreed. The point was to illustrate to those who believe that the Republicans are the only ones who do this crap that both sides are guilty.

However, most people consider politics a team sport and ignore the fouls committed by their side.
