Yeah but Narcissists don't give a shit what you think and what you do, and don't feel shame in any sort of a healthy way.
Still the reason why this nation is not a 3rd world nation is because of people like you (and myself if I may toot my horn)

Brilliant! I may have to knock out a similar sign to take to the Houston rally tomorrow (if I can take the time off from work...)

SayUncle linked to some stuff about this group so I out of curiosity, I took a look. Holy shit, that's one giant pile of stupid! I found a couple "List of Demands" from various members of this group and would have had a good chuckle out of reading them except that they really looked serious about them. One particular list was so rediculous that it made what Obama has been doing actually look REASONABLE! What do these people think? That money comes from the magical money fairy?

Now, either get your entrepreneur and get that shit on a T-Shirt
post haste
. Make damn sure they're available in 3X and black. I'll buy two.

This whole thing is nothing more than left wing funded astroturf street theater and the media are either suckers for falling for it or in the tank for the money sources.
Personally, I'd like to replace what's going on on Wall St. with Capitalism, but that's just me.
Robb Allen
says:

Yup, the problem with Capitalism is and has always been not enough capitalists.
With what we teach our kids in school, that's not too surprising.
I'm not saying there aren't problems with Wall St. and I'm not saying some of the people protesting do not have valid points, but cannot
look at these pictures and tell me the protestors are enraged about the repeal of Glass Stegall
.
I too long for a return to capitalism.
Going Topless For Occupation

Wow... Just wow... "Down with Corporations"? Lets take a look at what that would look like.
Unemployment now 10% (ish)
Get rid of all Corporations...
Unemployment 100% (umm... ish, I guess)
I guess they think that Jobs come from the Job Fairy too. Dumbasses.
I'll have to wait until AFTER work to look at the "topless for Occupation" link. Although I'm a little afraid at what it might show. (I'm imagining hairy, un-bathed hippie chicks).

Just beautiful.
And to think, some of those people felt the need to quit their jobs to go protest "corporate greed" and joblessness. WTF?
North

"Unemployment 100% (umm... ish, I guess)"
Um. The only jobs would be government jobs. Is that "employment"?
Robb Allen
says:

Nothing like protesting corporations while sleeping in Coleman sleeping bags, wearing Tommy Hillfiger jackets, tweeting on iPads and Androids, waving signs drawn on Georgia Pacific cardboard with Sharpie pens.

Remember, this group is really after "Eternal College"- no real work, lots of free love, and the opportunity to get high: all this without having to pay a cent or break a sweat.
Kris says:

Rob -
I linked this in facebook and got a classic response from one of my liberal friends. In the end, they just don't get it and see your response as a plea for help.
In the end, I think they are hopeless. The gulf is too wide for any sense to make its way through.
Here's his response:
"I'm confused ... Seems to me a little more wage equality might help this hard working guy out. Maybe he'd be able to cut back to just two jobs and not have to take the side jobs for extra cash. What point is he making?"
Kris says:

"Um. The only jobs would be government jobs. Is that "employment"?"
What government jobs? Once you get rid of corporations and all those jobs, the government will HAVE to confisgate from "The Rich" (thus killing the goose) and very quickly there won't be any government jobs because even the government has to pay workers if it wants to keep them.
We are talking TOTAL COLLAPSE.

HOW DARE YOU!
That has to be Weyerhaeuser corrugated paper, not GP cheap, cardboard.
Other then that, yeah i agree with you.
Xman says:
on 10/6/2011 11:00:46 AM
Gee, Robb...if you weren't actively hogging ALL the jobs for yourself, how many of these fine folks up at the protest could be gainfully employed?
TRICK QUESTION!
The answer is ZERO! NADA! What boss in his right mind is going to hire any of these maleducated, filty, smelly hippies when they have hard-working, pants-free options like you?
Doyle
says:

Outstanding, Robb! Well done!
Your story is similar to mine over the past 30 years. I don't expect anyone to give me anything. I'm willing to earn what I receive by providing excellent quality and service, supplying people and companies with the things they need.
The best you can hope for in life is opportunity. It's up to you to determine what you do with it. The world/society/govenment/mommy/etc don't owe you a damn thing. That's what I wish some of these idiot protestors would realize.
But you know what? With them whining, it just leaves more opportunity for me and others like me.
Thanks Robb! Great success to you and yours.

Oh Yes!
I worked 3 jobs while going to college and not one of them paid close to $8 per hour. But I was raised that if one job wasn't paying the bills, you get a second or third. You F-ing work your ass off and pay your bills. That's America! It rewards hard work. At least it used to.
Those creeps in NY are not the 99%, they are nothing but losers. Piss on 'em.
Telemachus says:

"I'm confused ... Seems to me a little more wage equality might help this hard working guy out. Maybe he'd be able to cut back to just two jobs and not have to take the side jobs for extra cash. What point is he making?"
I think the confusion is this: "progressives" think that they can use the State to mould the world to their liking,
and
they believe that it is moral to do so. E.g., if you have to work three jobs to get by, and you don't like it, then the State should step in and do something to make your life better. If Robb were a different sort of person, his sign would say "I had to work three jobs. I shouldn't have had to, because that's not nice."
Worldly salvation through State violence: it's the progressive religion. I don't think any compromise is possible. Civil dialogue, maybe, but not compromise. We either have a chance to make our way in the world as it is, or turn our lives over to a strong-man who might make our lives better. I prefer to do without a strong-man.
