And they pull your Monday Night Football intro
In an interview Monday morning on Fox News' ''Fox & Friends,'' Williams, unprompted, said of Obama's outing on the links with House Speaker John Boehner: ''It'd be like Hitler playing golf with (Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu.'' … ''While Hank Williams Jr. is not an ESPN employee, we recognize that he is closely linked to our company through the open to 'Monday Night Football,''' the network said in a statement. ''We are extremely disappointed with his comments, and as a result we have decided to pull the open from tonight's telecast.''

Why do I have a feeling the whole Bushitler meme went down the memory hole with these people?
As a side note, since many people become morons when it comes down to politics and fail to read or even attempt to discern intent, I do not equate Obama to Hitler. I find the comparison lame since it invokes Godwin’s law from the get go.Regardless, if ESPN fired everyone who ever spoke in such terms regarding the previous occupant at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, they’d probably have a skeleton crew that consists of two janitors and the AV guy who was too busy playing EVE Online to bother with politics.
