See, that's why we need more Gun Smithing Classes in ALL the Community Colleges. Look at what the poor guy had to go through w/o proper education and training. THIS is why "A Mind is a Terrible thing to Waste".

Homemade guns have been an interest of mine for years. It's facinating what someone can come up with in their garage. I haven't tried to build one myself as I don't have the tools nor the talent working with metal, but I have been tempted to try it anyway!

Who knows, one day maybe...

I once read a short story about a guy going back in time to the war of northern aggression with the fab plans for an M3 grease gun and the details for making modern brass cartridges. Since the majority of the M3 was just sheet metal stampings and the tolerances were loose it would shoot Black Powder without much effort.

I always thought it would be fun to make an M3 or Sten or Swedish K in one's garage. Just for the experience.
