One thing you can give credit to to the anti-gun forces, they’re persistent
A day after Dane County officials introduced a resolution that would ban concealed weapons in county buildings, Mayor Paul Soglin released a statement of his intent to enact an ordinance that would require written permission for gun owners to carry a weapon on private property in Madison. "We will consider ordinances that give the property owners and lease holders a presumption that individuals may not bring firearms onto someone else's property without their permission," Soglin said in a press release

I think that’s a splendid idea. In fact, since my private property rights trump everything else, I demand that queers, blacks, Hispanics, Jews, the handicapped, Rastafarians, women and idiots with earlobes that you can pass a D-Cell battery through have written, notarized permission to be on private property as well.
Oh… I’m sorry, would that be bigoted?
Too bad. If you can demand a specific segment of the population requires written permission to enter property, then by God, own up to your bigotry. Nobody would allow this if it targeted a precious ‘protected’ group and this is bigotry just the same.
In fact, I’m more than happy to entertain this ass clown’s assertion
A resolution was introduced at the Dane County Board meeting Thursday that would ban firearms in county buildings. County Executive Joe Parisi called it a matter of both public and county employee safety.
So, let’s get this straight. Guns pose a public safety hazard, correct? If they do, then you should be demanding their complete and utter banning from everywhere, not just governmental buildings. I’m ok with that tact because it proves what we, as gunnies, have been saying all along – all gun laws are an attempt to eventually disarm the American populace. The anti-gunners don’t give a shit about ‘safety’, they’re after pure disarmament.
I’m perfectly willing with private property owners wishing to control who or what enters their domain. This bill is nothing more than a blanket ban on the 2nd Amendment because it is an impossible standard to abide by – there is no physical way you can obtain permission from every spot you’re likely to walk through.
