I see German Shepherd, but I also see Doberman. Anyone else want to take a wild guess of her muttiness?

Casey stopped growing 25% per week at about 4 months. She's now steadily 2 lbs a week. She'll get to about 65 lbs.

Bubblehead, the color is there, but the hair isn't in an odd direction like one would expect with a Ridgeback.

Coloring is right though.

I don't see Doberman, myself. I see German shepherd and bloodhound, personally. Look at the way her hips and shoulders tie in, she's got some of that loose-jointed slinky look, and the red in her coat is about right.

Her skin is loose. You can grab a handful of it and she wouldn't even notice. So there's that as well.

Regardless, she is smart as a whip, playful, and so far very loving of anyone who is willing to let her lick them to death.

Dobies have down ears naturally so I don't see that in her either. I wonder where the white chest markings come from?

Where ever they came from, happy and playful are great traits. 65 lbs isn't too much dog. One of our goldens is in that 60-70 range and it's just about right.

lol. I think vets just pull a number out of a hat. Ours was supposed to be 12 pounds max. Turns out he's a much better 23.

I think I see some retriever in there, but that's probably because several of my friends have them.

As Silverevilchao says, it doesn't really matter because she's cute as can be.

Looks like there is some boxer in the face and that would explain the chest marking too.

Looking at some pictures of Malanois / Shepherd mixes, I could easily say that's what she is.

No, it doesn't matter too much. We're just trying to gauge her eventual size and of course, figure out any future temperament issues we might need to be on the lookout for.

Anyhoo. The Vet says that They can do a DNA test to determine exactly what percentage of what breed your dag is.

Not available for teh kittehs yet, no surprise.
