At 25 yards, I can hit a 12 inch circle with my 10mm Glock 20

Range Time

I don’t think I could hit the freaking ground at three hundred and fifty two yards with it.

Fake? Real? Hard to tell although I’d say it’s not impossible at all. Bullets travel a looooooong way, and the 10mm has plenty of energy in it. I wouldn’t recommend this as a sniper platform though.

There's a YouTube channel for a Glock nut who goes by Hickok45 who shot a really big gong (I don't remember the size but it was bigger than 12") with his Glock out at 235 yards. So, I would have to say it is theoretically possible. There would be a lot of luck involved with it though.

Long distance pistol shooting is half art, half science, half skill, half luck.

I was out for goose with a buddy one day when he spotted a red fox trotting across the far end of his cornfield. I had my Springer GI 1911 with me and let fly with one round of 230gr ball. I puffed dirt literally six inches in front of the fox, who rolled and ran like hell.

We paced it off around 250yd and I later rough-measured it on an overhead image to 260yd.

Moving target, iron GI sights, and acceptable accuracy.

I leaned heavily on the "luck" portion of that equation, btw.

I have a 686 Smith (a .356 Mag revolver), with a 6" barrel and a M82X EER Leuopold scope. With it, I have routinely exploded milk jugs filled with water at 200 yards, and I mean shot after shot after shot, all while shooting off a simple sandbag rest at a shooting bench. The scope and the rest are what makes it possible. Put iron sights back on it, and I might as well throw rocks at that range.

Two years ago we set up a gong at 350 yards, it's been a while, but I believe it was eighteen inches. Nobody had any problem walking their shots into that gong even with my little Kel Tec PF9. Think about it. It's still a 115gr projectile moving out a 1200fps. One you get your sight alignment, it's just a matter of pressing the trigger. Now, I can tell you that FMJ rounds bounced off that gong and landed within ten feet with almost no deformation. Not exactly a killing blow.

Never tried that kind of thing myself, though.
