What would Colin “Duck and Cover” Goddard consider this guy?

George, a former Marine and retired airline pilot, was present in Tucson on that horrible day when one man decided that U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords must die. When the shooting started, heroically, he rushed to shield his wife 0f 50 years, Dot.

Unfortunately, she was already gone and he had lost his high school sweetheart. He was also shot. Twice. One bullet went through his back, puncturing one lung and breaking a rib. Another bullet went into his leg.

Like a number of Tucson protestors, George was at the NRA Annual Meeting, but he was not standing in the streets. He was inside, giving a speech.

I too, am a ‘victim’ of gun violence. I was forced to pull my own pistol to protect myself from two choir boys who I can only assume I misunderstood and were saying they wanted to kill some time with me.

However, I’m willing to bet the anti-gun farces forces won’t be inviting Mr. Morris to speak at their next event. Can’t have reality invade in their narrative.
