Not just that, glocks are widely used for fun and carry. Their market share might go up and down, but they'll never drop out.

Besides: the brand is just a name. Vide: Browning and Wichester, their names might not be on any new firearms but the designs and the brain behind them are still out there.

Glock really hurt themselves with the Gen 4 pistols, but I'm not sure what did more damage, the obvious design flaws, or the half assed approach to correcting them.

Hopefully they get it together. I'm pleased to see S&W doing so well with the M&P. I hope Beretta gets their head out of their ass and SIG fires the guy who also ruined Kimber. We need as many competitive pistol manufacturers as possible!

Why buy Glock when you can get a M+P from Smith for $50-70 less? Or have we forgotten what happened to the American Car Industry when companies with the name of Toyota, Honda, Nissa, et.al. arrived? Some of these American Gun Manufacturers need to realize that they are putting $600 price tags on $300 guns, and we know it, Springfield Arms of Genesco, Illinois, right?
