I put up a logo that links to GunUp. On occasion when I write something gun related, they may scrape my feed and put up a blurb on their site. For this, I receive absolutely $0.00 in compensation. The best I can hope for is a little bit of extra traffic and some extra blogging opportunity, but I am not gaining any monetary nor product-related items for this venture.
As a reminder, my only advertiser is GunsForSale.com which I write for from time to time. Hosted 2’ to my right on a $300 desktop turned virtual server and fed through business class fiber, Sharp as a Marble somewhat breaks even over the year as I use it as a vehicle for networking, getting side gigs doing graphics and web work, but I still pay for it out of my own pocket.
