I’m getting sick and tired of every time I see that damnable Chiappa Rhino, I go crazy with lust.

Can we please stop posting sexy pictures of it? Please? My willpower is weak as it is, I don’t need such temptations. I also don’t have $800 (mostly because you cheap bastards like to come here and laugh at me without hitting the tip jar).

Seconded. On all counts. The only thing saving my ass is that I literally just bought a .357 revolver, at about the same price, and if I went out and did it again, my ~~financial advisor~~... er... wife might just kill me. Well, that, and the Rhino has not been thoroughly tested by folks who do such things yet, so there is that too...

But, damn, want one. Really really want one.

The Rhino's pretty high on my list of Things I Want This Year. Might haul one around as a back-up gun, but I mostly want one just because it's weird. I kinda like weird in a gun.

I think Alan's concern has to do with the Rhino's internal complexity. ISTR a display Rhino from last year showing a cut-away of the lockwork. Looked pretty intimidating.

Robb, simple solution: Move to MA. The Chiappa line isn't "safe" enough to make the "Approved Firearms Roster" {spit}, so you won't be able to buy it anyways!

Do you not see the flaw in your plan?

The day I move, I'd get a check in the mail for several hundred thousand dollars due to overpayment from some place. After taxes, I'd have exactly the amount needed to purchase the Rhino.

I would be in Hell. A frozen Hell with 6' snowdrifts.
