Not really, I know which one is dumber. The fact that the ATF actually spends time and effort in investigating people for the ‘crime’ of putting a silly forward grip on a pistol is, hands down, the first place winner in the game of fail.
“Oh, but that grip makes it a rifle!!!” Bullshit. I own a VW GTI. I could slather it with sponsor stickers and shove a fake, giant air scoop on the hood, it doesn’t turn my vehicle into a rally car, but that’s exactly what the anti-gun idiots who makes these laws want you to believe. So instead of arresting people who drive like maniacs, the laws should be rewritten so that they arrest people who look like they have a car that could be driven maniacally!
That’s the same logic required to believe that the superficial features on a firearm make it any more or less dangerous than another.
