My grandmother, who is 88, had her gallbladder up and quit on her. Surgery was a risky move as she had been on blood thinners for a while as well as her age, but I just got news the surgery went well. Doctors removed the gallbladder and didn't find any signs of cancer or anything, so that's excellent news. She'll be going home tomorrow.
That's been on my mind all week.
