Mine was full size. What I remember the most about it was the elephant's hair was like a quarter inch in diameter and did not lend itself to petting.

Ditto. A traveling circus stopped in town that had a few elephants, and they were giving rides on one of the little ones.

Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure I rode a larger one at some other time. The memory is a bit hazy, so I was probably younger than when I rode on the little one.
